Skiing is About Fun, Not Fear

Pedagogy Meets the Piste

With a formal background in education (PGCE), I don't just teach skiing—I teach children. I understand how to keep them engaged, manage different learning styles, and ensure they are having fun while they learn.

Mixed Family Abilities

Can children and adults ski together? Absolutely. I regularly manage family groups where parents want to cruise while kids want to hit the side-hits. I tailor the pacing so everyone gets what they need from the day.

Nervous Children

Skiing can be overwhelming for young ones. My calm, patient style focuses on building trust first. We take breaks, get hot chocolate when needed, and prioritize smiles over perfect technique until they are ready.

Family Logistics & FAQs

Can siblings of different ages share a lesson?

Yes, sibling groups are very common. I adapt the session so the older/faster sibling is challenged while the younger one is safely supported.

What about lunch and breaks?

For full-day sessions with kids, pacing is everything. I handle all lunch arrangements and know exactly where the best kid-friendly stops are in Val d'Isère and Tignes.

Do you teach teenagers?

Teens often want to learn to carve, ski off-piste, or hit the park. I treat them like young adults, focusing on the skills they actually want to learn to keep them engaged with the sport.
